I just wish you'd make longer vids. No, I never really knew my Father until it was too late. He was 3 1/2 years as P.O.W of the Japanese in Borneo (Sandakan & Kuching) and never got over it. It was his camp-mates who told me a few things about him at the funeral. Then I understood the way he was. You've touched a nerve with this one.

Mine was a paratrooper in WW2 who did come home. I lived with him 18 years and don't feel like I knew him.

I'm lucky enough to know my Father, and am still close to him. His Dad was killed in a tractor fire when he was a kid, not long after coming back from Europe in WWII. Life can be strange.
