The Saturn did have dual processors, which is why third-party companies did not understand how to utilize them both (especially Some of Sega's development teams).

Probably because is has two processors. Even the 360 and Playstation 3 would have trouble emulating it. Also the music alone would be about the size of a Nintendo 64 game. Please just look the details up, it can't happen.

So despite the ability to emulate a game that was made to run on a 3-D console like Super Mario 64, it can't emulate a game that was orginally made for a 2-D console, like NiGHTS into dreams? Yeah, it would take up quite a few blocks, but I can't imagine it taking up more then an N64 game. Second, I understand that Saturn programming is strange, but VC is basically a big emulator network: Emulation of NiGHTS is possible. I fail to see why the Wii would be unable to handle NiGHTS.

First of all, the game is in a rather large disc, that would take up a LOT of blocks. Second Wii can't emulate the Saturn at all so there is no chance.

VC won't happen period? I've heard it wasn't likely to be ported ANYWHERE. Is it because the Wii is not powerful enough to emulate a sega saturn game? It IS possible.

VC won't happen period, but the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network are very good bets.

(T_T) Oh well. At least the old Saturn still works! Still would have liked to have got it. Thanks for the info. :D

Unfortunately, I just found confirmation that NiGHTS into dreams remade for the PS2 is japan exclusive. Let's hope for a VC release.

Actually, if you haven't been paying attention, they are remaking NiGHTS into dreams for the PS2 (in japan, no western shipping has been announced). NiGHTS fans are somewhat put off by the system, but this is good enough.
