Alisterwolf66 ::: Favorites 2008-01-09 18:25:57 That'd be sick too. I'd wanna keep weight down as much as possible, though. __________________________________________________
okodorifuto ::: Favorites 2008-01-09 17:31:25 How about a 20B? __________________________________________________
user136002 ::: Favorites 2008-01-06 23:28:27 Thats not the fastest atom, the fastest has 600bhp per ton. __________________________________________________
Alisterwolf66 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 10:51:42 Exactly right! And again, I can't argue with the sheer amount of aftermarket support for the venerable Hondas. Personally? Let's swap the Vtec/Ecotec drivetrain for a turbo'd 13B and see what happens! __________________________________________________
speedracerx808 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 03:21:28 well until the gm market catches up to the tunability of the honda motors, i would have to say that would be the way to go. i mean honestly the torque advantage of the gm engines is pretty much negligible due to the fact the the atom weighs so little to begin with. the atom more so lacks top end from what i hear it tops out around 150 mph. now if they fit a v8 engine in there, i may have to change my mind. jap/american/euro, who cares. everything has its advantages and disadvantages. __________________________________________________
Alisterwolf66 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 02:24:55 Well... since you presented yourself not as a foaming-at-the-mouth ricer, but as a dignified human being, I feel the need to respond! I can't argue the Hondas are Japan's equivalent to the small-block Chevy. Give the Eco some time, and we'll see who starts making what. It seems to be a very capable platform so far. To be fair, I'm more into old-school power. Big inches, huge lake-draining carburetors, and monstrous blowers get my blood moving! And rotaries, 'cause they're unique. :) __________________________________________________
speedracerx808 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 02:14:47 i would personally take the vtec form they used to have. namely because the amount of performance parts for a honda engine beats that of the gm engine. you can easily put a stroker kit and a turbo on the atom and get over 500 hp. that would easily kill the superchargered 300hp gm motor. just my opinion though. plus vtec just sounds so nice when it kicks in. __________________________________________________
Alisterwolf66 ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 16:51:44 Hm... Radical: Single seat, purpose-built track car that's technically legal for street use. Atom: Two-seat, reverse gear, track car designed for good road manners and mind-blowing track performance. They both waste cars costing easily five to ten times as much, and offer a driving experience more in line with that of Forumula cars. But when it comes down to it, the Atom is far more sensible for daily use. I'll take an Ecotec-powered Atom, thanks! (torque bonus over the Vtec) __________________________________________________
nafango22 ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 16:18:56 that was the base model atom. if they got the upgraded engine it would have blown away the radical. not to mention, the radical looks like total shit. I mean, quite possible the ugliest car i have ever seen. like someone went to toys r us and found the ugliest hot wheels car they could find and made it life size. Ew. __________________________________________________
TheRockinChiefs ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 15:47:45 radical is 2 hardcore 4 everyday use but the atom isnt. i wud personally have the atom, but wotever u like wotever __________________________________________________
sprucemaroose ::: Favorites 2007-12-26 13:19:45 is that what you buy a car for, to impress your friends? lol. I would have the radical every time, anyone who knows anything about cars would be more impressed with a car with 600BHP/tonne than someone saying ooh look at my 7litre v12... __________________________________________________
HumanTortuer ::: Favorites 2007-12-25 19:52:50 and i have driven both of the atom and radical, i would say that the radical is quite a bit faster in the straights than the atom, but in the corners, the atom is just so much more controllable and less oversteer. and just faster in the corners. __________________________________________________
HumanTortuer ::: Favorites 2007-12-25 19:51:15 lol, u think the radical looks nice from the front and back? lol i think it looks pathetic, i'll admit that it can outperform cars 4 times it's price, but cmon, i would have a car that u can go shouting about saying it has a V8, V10, V12, or W16. I don't think that people would be impressed when u say it has a bike engine, no matter how fast or power to ratio it has. __________________________________________________ |
