XZIBIT "Concentrate" DIRTY VERSION (TV-MA) 04:20 From: nogoodtv Views: 50.338 Description: From the vaults of NO GOOD TV's DMV channel comes the UNCENSORED, DIRECTOR'S cut of XZIBIT's "CONCENTRATE."Since the release of his 1996 debut "At The Speed Of Life," Xzibit has released five full length albums including the 2000 blockbuster "Restless" which included "X," produced by Dr. Dre. Xzibit has also expanded his visibility with high profile step-outs, including Dr. Dre's 2001 monster release, huge concert tours like 2000's "Up In Smoke" and roles in movies like "8 Mile" with Eminem and "The Gridiron Gang" with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Lately, Xzibit has focused his attention on hosting his hit MTV series "Pimp My Ride." Now he's back with his new full length album "Full Circle," an aggressive return to form. It features some of his most political anthems to date, along with the Rick Rock produced single "Concentrate." "Full Circle" also features The Game, DJ Quik, T-Pain, Too Short, Daz, Kurupt, and comedian Donnell Rawlings from the hit series "The Dave Chappelle Show."For more uncensored music videos visit the DMV channel on NO GOOD TV at Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and television personality, who was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by his father and stepmother. He is also known for hosting MTV's Pimp My Ride. He has released a new album once every two years since his 1996 debut At the Speed of Life; his most recent Full Circle, was released in October 2006. He also provided the voice for Abbott in the 2004 video game, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.At a very young age he was taught to write by his mother Trena who passed away when Xzibit was nine years old. His father re-married and the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where Xzibit spent his adolescence. At the age of 13 Xzibit began listening to rap and writing lyrics, which didn't go over well with his ex-Marine father and strict stepmother, who were both Jehovah's Witnesses. From 14 to 17, Xzibit spent much of his time on the streets of Albuquerque and began to get into trouble. His misfortunes followed him to school and he was expelled from the high schools in Albuquerque.Xzibit started off as a member of the Likwit Crew, a loose collective of West Coast rappers including Tha Alkaholiks and King T. After touring with them in 1995, Loud Records released the young rapper's debut album, At the Speed of Life in 1996. The album quickly became an underground hit. When Xzibit released his follow-up, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz (1998), he was again heralded as one of the West Coast's most promising talents despite no commercial success. He expanded his following with a series of albums beginning in the late 1990s, ultimately aligning himself with hip hop kingpin Dr. Dre. Xzibit's big breakthrough came when he joined Snoop Dogg for the Dr. Dre-produced hit, "Bitch Please." What followed were some high profile guest appearances on Dr. Dre's 6x platinum 2001, on songs like "What's the Difference?" and the posse song "Some L.A. Niggaz". By this time, Dre had invited the young rapper to criss-cross America during summer 2000 with the "Up in Smoke" tour which featured Snoop, Eminem, and Ice Cube, among many others. That winter, Loud released Xzibit's Restless with Dr. Dre as executive producer, which boasted the single "X". The song became the rapper's biggest hit yet.Xzibit returned with another album, Man Vs. Machine, yet again he fell a bit short of mainstream success, although he did manage to go gold. He continued to collaborate with his closest West Coast colleagues, primarily Ras Kass and Saafir with whom he formed The Golden State Project rap collective, and tha Liks, along with bigger names like Snoop Dogg and Eminem. His allegiance to the West Coast and former colleagues continued to win him much respect from his fans. Weapons of Mass Destruction followed two years later which also managed to go gold. Xzibit also has his own record label called Open Bar Entertainment.Xzibit also guest starred in the song Stand Up on the 2005 Alice Cooper album Dirty Diamonds. Xzibit used to be a part of a group called Strong Arm Steady with Mitchy Slick, Phil The Agony and Krondon, a group he practically founded. Xzibit actually left the group recently when they signed to Talib Kweli's Blacksmith Records. They are expected to release their first album, "Arms And Hammers" in the fall of 2006 under Blacksmith Music Corporation. Xzibit performed in Japan as part of Live Earth.Dupri said once he is a better producer than Dr. Dre and Timbaland. Dupri was in feud with Aftermath and with Dr. Dre, Eminem. Xzibit joined Aftermath and Dupri dissed him. Xzibit with the assistance of Eminem responded in the song My Name and Jermaine Dupri has never responded to this since. Xzibit and Eminem diss Jeramine Dupri in a DJ Kayslay exclusive "Grindin".This beef started when Xzibit claimed that he could have gained fame without J-Ro and the rest of Tha Alkaholiks and Xzibit had dissed Jermaine Dupri and King Tee. J-Ro dissed Xzibit on his song "The X-Homie" where one of the claims made was that Xzibit was posing as a Crip. Xzibit didn't respond to J-Ro, and the beef has been squashed and Joiner has began working with The Alkaholiks and Defari again. In the Gumball 3000 2007 rally, Xzibit took part driving a black Lamborghini Gallardo. During the first day of the rally, Dutch police seized his driver's license for doing 160 km/h where only 100 km/h allowed. After the penalty his co-driver took over the wheel and they were allowed to continue.Xzibit has appeared in several acting roles on the big screen. He portrayed Duncan in Full Clip in 2004 and Dexter in Derailed in 2005. He also played Zeke in XXX: State of the Union in 2005. He had a small role as a worker at New Detroit Stamping in 8 Mile. In 2006, he starred in Hoodwinked, as the voice of Chief Grizzly. Xzibit co-stars with pro-wrestler The Rock in the Gridiron Gang, released in 2006.Xzibit is the host of the MTV show Pimp My Ride. Together with Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) (seasons 1--4 featured West Coast Customs) they refurbish and upgrade old beat-up cars with new paint jobs, stereos, and other extraordinary refits.[8] Xzibit was also featured in a guest role as a rapper on the U.S. crime drama CSI: Miami. In 2006, Xzibit was featured in a parody of his Pimp My Ride show on the Adult Swim cartoon The Boondocks.Solo Albums1996: At the Speed of Life 1998: 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz 2000: Restless 2002: Man Vs. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri but grew up in Senegal until he was seven. He split time between Senegal and the U.S. until he was fifteen, then his family permanently moved to Jersey City, New Jersey and as such he speaks English, French, and Wolof. He recorded his first song, "Operations of Nature," at the age of fifteen. He was jailed for armed robbery and drug distribution charges, and used his time in prison to work on his music. Upon release, Akon began writing and recording tracks in his home studio. The tapes found their way to SRC/Universal, which released Akon's debut LP Trouble in June 2004. The album is a hybrid of Akon's silky, West African-styled vocals mixed with East Coast and Southern beats.Akon's solo debut album, Trouble was released on June 29, 2004. It spawned the hit singles "Locked Up" and "Lonely," as well as "Belly Dancer (Bananza)," "Pot Of Gold," and "Ghetto". Akon served a three-year jail sentence for grand theft auto, an experience that inspired his "Locked Up". "Locked Up" reached the top 10 in the U.S. and the top five in the UK. His manager Robert Montanez was shot to death following a dispute in New Jersey in December 2005. "Ghetto" became a radio hit when it was remixed by Green Lantern to include verses from legendary rappers 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. In 2005, he released the single "Lonely" (which samples Bobby Vinton's "Mr. Lonely"). The song reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the charts in Australia, the UK and Germany. His album also climbed to number one in the UK in April, 2005. When music channel The Box had a top ten weekly chart, which was calculated by the amount of video requests, Akon's "Lonely" became the longest running single on the top of the chart, spanning over fifteen weeks. Akon then released another single featuring with a New Zealand rapper, Savage with the single Moonshine, which had become a success in both New Zealand and Australia, becoming number one in the New Zealand charts. In 2005, Akon gained more popularity after being featured on Young Jeezy's debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, on the song "Soul Survivor" which became a top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100.Akon's second album, entitled Konvicted, was released on November 14, 2006. Konvicted included collaborations with Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Styles P. Late August 2006, Akon released the single "Smack That" featuring Eminem, from the album. This single peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks. The music video for "Smack That" was directed by Raymond Garced. "I Wanna Fuck You", the second single off Konvicted, was released in September 2006. It is a collaboration between Akon and Snoop Dogg. This single earned Akon his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100, and Snoop's second. "I Wanna Fuck You" topped the U.S. charts for two consecutive weeks. In January 2007, Akon released his third single "Don't Matter" which earned him his first solo number one and second consecutive Hot 100 chart topper. So far, the album has spawned three hit singles which have peaked within the top two of the Billboard Hot 100. Konvicted debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, selling 286,000 copies in its first week. After only six weeks, Konvicted sold more than one million records in the U.S. and more than 1.3 million worldwide. The album was certified platinum after seven weeks, and after sixteen weeks it was certified double platinum. Konvicted was able to stay in the top twenty of the Billboard 200 for 28 consecutive weeks, where it peaked at number two on four different occasions. Currently it has sold more than 2.4 million records in the U.S. and 3.8 million worldwide in 30 weeks. On October 5, 2006, Akon broke a record on the Hot 100, as he achieved the largest climb in the chart's 48-year-history with "Smack That" jumping from number 95 to 7. The leap is fueled by its number six debut on Hot Digital Songs with 67,000 downloads. The record was broken on April 7, 2007 by Beyoncé and Shakira's Beautiful Liar when it jumped from 94 to 3 on the Hot 100, because of their 150,000 digital downloads on the Hot Digital Songs. In December 2006, Akon's "Smack That" was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, but lost to Justin Timberlake and T.I.'s My Love.In 2006, Akon started his new record label Kon Live Distribution under Interscope Records.
