Thirdly, the man reports that Al Qaeda members have become "amateurish" and then provides no evidence for his claim. parttimeyid ::: Favorites I don't think the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were even evoked in this piece. It seems to me the analysis was far more focussed on the impact of Al Qaeda. freeplay73 ::: Favorites I'm anti-imperialist and anti-war, but to address your point: American soldiers have a low base pay, true, but they get free food, housing, and medical care, on-the-job training of workplace skills, lots of money for college, and if they stay long enough, a pension that they can recieve while working their next civilian job thus earning two incomes. They've presented the viewpoint that Al Qaeda are less dangerous than they were, yet they show these fear mongering clips of Americans talking about the "danger". This gives the impression that we have done a good job and that we need to carry on if we want to reduce the danger.
